Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, an example of Victorian Italianate architecture, the Granger House Museum is the only restored middle-class family home in the Cedar Rapids area. Occupied by a single family for nearly 100 years, the house contains many of its original furnishings.  Our guided tours include  the 1879  brick carriage house, virtually the only one of its design in the Midwest and featuring a variety of artifacts & equipment for Morgan horses, farming & dairy.

The museum is open seasonally, but tours for groups (5+ people) may be scheduled by appointment throughout the year.

See the Membership page for volunteer opportunities.
